The website zurich.adventurerooms.ch is operated by AdventureRooms Zurich GmbH, Weinbergstrasse 68, 8006 Zürich. AdventureRooms Zurich GmbH offers this website, including all information, tools and services, conditioned upon your acceptance of the following terms and conditions. The terms “AdventureRooms”, “we” and “us” refer to AdventureRooms Zurich GmbH. For bookings, the General Terms and Conditions also apply.

1. Website use and security

1. 1.1The website zurich.adventurerooms.ch is owned and operated by AdventureRooms. AdventureRooms holds the right to amend or vary these terms and conditions and any of the contents of the website at any time at its sole discretion without prior notice.
2. 1.2These terms apply to the use by any visitor of the AdventureRooms website and should be read carefully before any use.
3. 1.3AdventureRooms does its best to supply you with the most current and accurate information on its website.
4. 1.4The AdventureRooms website is for your personal and non-commercial use. You may not modify, copy, distribute, transmit, display, perform, reproduce, publish, license, create derivative works from, transfer or sell any information obtained from this website.
5. 1.5You are not permitted to link to or use all or any part of the AdventureRooms website for any purpose which is fraudulent, unlawful, defamatory, harmful, obscene or objectionable.
6. 1.6You accept that the Internet is not fully secure. AdventureRooms will take all appropriate steps to protect the security of any payment card information, though AdventureRooms shall not be liable for any damage that you may suffer as a result of the loss of confidentiality of any such information. Payments are processed by Stripe.
7. 1.7AdventureRooms shall not be liable to any person for any direct or indirect, consequential or incidental damages, including (without limitation) lost profits or revenues, loss of opportunity, costs of replacement goods or services, loss of or damage to data or business interruption, arising out of any use of the website.

2. General

1. 2.1Nothing in these terms and conditions is intended to affect your statutory rights.
2. 2.2An escape room is designed for a team of 2 to 6 people per room (standard mode) or 6 to 12 people (duel mode).
3. 2.3The trademarks and logos displayed on the website are the property of AdventureRooms. You are not permitted to use these without the prior written permission of AdventureRooms, and you accept that any such use may constitute an infringement of the relevant proprietor's rights.
4. 2.4These terms and conditions and any contract concluded incorporating these terms and conditions shall be governed by Swiss law. The place of jurisdiction is Zurich.
5. 2.5The AdventureRooms website may contain hyperlinks to third party websites. The operation of those websites is out of AdventureRooms' control and you use them at your own risk.
6. 2.6How we handle personal data is set out in the Privacy Policy.
7. 2.7Due to the limited reception area, we ask you to arrive on time, not earlier than 5 minutes before the start of the game.
8. 2.8No photo or video recordings are allowed in the game.
9. 2.9We ask you not to disclose any details of the games directly or indirectly to the public.
10. 2.10If you have made a booking with us or bought a voucher, AdventureRooms may occasionally inform you by email about similar offers. You can object to this at any time.
11. 2.11AdventureRooms is entitled to charge the guests for any damage which is intentional or caused by misuse of items.
12. 2.12While you are on our premises, our rules apply. We expect proper standards of behaviour and cooperation with our employees.
13. 2.13AdventureRooms does not tolerate any kind of bullying or harassment towards its employees.

3. Bookings

1. 3.1Only persons who are at least 18 years of age are permitted to book.
2. 3.2Please check that the details of your booking are correct.
3. 3.3A booking is only valid once it has been confirmed by AdventureRooms. You receive the confirmation by email only.
4. 3.4If you wish to transfer your booking into someone else's name, you can do so by email to zurich@adventurerooms.ch at least 24 hours before the start of the game. AdventureRooms may refuse this facility.
5. 3.5Bookings may not be resold for commercial purposes or at a premium. Anyone presenting a booking transferred in this way will be refused admission.
6. 3.6You are entirely responsible for entering your details correctly on the booking form. By submitting the booking form, you warrant that all details supplied by you are true and accurate.
7. 3.7Please arrive on time. If you arrive significantly late, we may have to shorten the playing time.
8. 3.8For an online booking, a deposit by credit card is required. If you reserve by email with a voucher, you do not pay a deposit.
9. 3.9The booking system is not owned by AdventureRooms. It is provided by an external partner. AdventureRooms shall not be liable for any direct or indirect, consequential or incidental damages arising out of any use of the booking system.

4. Prices and payment

1. 4.1The prices (including VAT) are stated on the website and in the booking system.
2. 4.2The price is set according to the number of people in a room (maximum 6 in standard mode, 12 in duel mode). If fewer or more people play than booked, the price per person changes.
3. 4.3Bookings can be made online via the booking system or by email.
4. 4.4A booking can only be changed if the change is made at least 48 hours before the booked date and another slot is available. The deposit cannot be refunded.
5. 4.5Companies, registered associations and schools can pay by invoice.

5. Safety

1. 5.1Before the game, the gamemaster explains the rules to all players. After that, each player participates in the game at their own risk. AdventureRooms is not liable for any (personal or equipment) damage caused by misuse or by not following the rules.
2. 5.2People under the influence of alcohol or drugs may be turned away.
3. 5.3Drinks and food may not be brought into the game rooms.
4. 5.4On arrival, you confirm the full name of the booker and may be asked to confirm the phone number and email address.
5. 5.5Children and young people under 16 play accompanied by adults. Children under the age of 9 are not permitted to enter the game rooms.
6. 5.6We recommend comfortable clothing; high-heeled shoes are not suitable.

6. Vouchers

1. 6.1Service vouchers and value vouchers are in all cases subject to the 5-year limitation period under Art. 128 of the Swiss Code of Obligations (CO). Service vouchers contain a credit for a specific service offer. Redemption is guaranteed for the duration of the offer, and in any case for 1 year from the date of issue. If the service is no longer offered, or no longer offered at the same price, the equivalent value is credited towards a service that is offered. Exchange or cash payment is not possible, and any remaining balance is transferred to a new voucher.
